Winter has officially hit our home this weekend with the first snow of the season! It was Logan’s first time actually playing in the snow, and Liam couldn’t wait to get his new boots on when he woke up. I thought it was perfect timing to share 12 arctic animal picture books that your preschooler or other kiddos will love! These include polar bears, penguins, whales, and more! Family Favorites:
Liam and I are really loving the two “Little Polar Bear” books by Hans de Beer because of the cute great illustrations and story lines. It even had a surprise cameo of his favorite animal- hippos! He also got a chuckle from “Penguin Huddle”, which was a new release last year. Our family, especially my 18 month old, loves any of the books by Jill McDonald (“Arctic Animals”). Her board books are perfect for younger kids because she does a great job of using colorful pictures and interesting facts to introduce a theme or topic.
