Reading is one of my favorite ways to connect and spend time with my kids, and it is something they both love doing every day! Lately, I’ve been coming up with different themes and pairing several books along with a sensory bin- and my kids are loving it. Brings me back to my language therapy days in the elementary school! Here are 18 picture books about farms and farm animals that you can enjoy with your toddler or preschooler. We had a lot of fun with these!
Family Favorite Farm Picture Books:
Liam was laughing out loud at “The Cow Said Neigh” several times that we read it! He also requested “Five Fuzzy Chicks” many times. My one-year-old loves “Around the Farm” and “Peek a Flap Moo”. Pretty sure we’ve read these 100 times! Both of these books are great for working on animals sounds with your little one. I think “Amara’s Farm” does a great job incorporating the crops and what grows on a farm. We’re also big fans of the “Little Blue Truck” series in our family!
