Motherhood is both amazing and challenging, sometimes in the same moment! As a first time mom, I was struggling with waking up so many times in the middle of the night to feed, plus the lack of sleep. I found myself looking up scripture and other’s experiences that would encourage me during the sleep deprived newborn state where I was constantly googling and hoping that we were doing this whole parenting thing right! As I write this now, I’m hoping (praying) that both of my boy’s naps will overlap for longer than 30 minutes to have a short break to recharge! These seven verses for motherhood (or any season of life) have remained a source of truth and encouragement and have reminded me that God is always there no matter how I’m feeling. I hope these can encourage your journey in motherhood, too!
*I made these verses for motherhood into scripture cards if you want to print them out and place them throughout your home as a good reminder! The link is at the bottom of this post!*
